I don’t think anyone here is going to say their research is ‘better’ than anyone elses! All of our research is important.

I think you should vote for me as I want to try and bring together pet owners, charities and pet product manufacturers to discuss a highly controversial issue – namely electronic containment systems. We don’t know anything about them at the moment from an animal welfare point of view and I believe having an open forum like I am proposing would be a great way for these organisations work together as opposed to debating constantly with no evidence!

      Hello All,

I think you should vote for me because I want to raise the profile of the great work carried out in laboratories across the world to find the more refined and species specific environment for the animals we work with. People who look after the animals really do care about them and not everyone is willing to talk about the work we do.

But if I can write a book with pictures then people will submit articles about what they have done and it will raise the profile of the hundreds of people that care about these beautiful creatures we are honoured to work with and who are part of the reason we are all living better and longer lives.

A vote for me will be a vote to say you can see that, while you may or may not agree with research with animals, there are people working with them who care for them very much and perhaps that helps you feel more reassured about the science.
