• Question: Why do you only spend 10% of your time working with real dolphins? Shouldn't it be longer to gain more precise information?

      Yes, the more time you spend on the field, the more data you can collect. The more data you have, the more precise your conclusion will be. However going out at sea with a boat is very expensive so that we can afford to collect data for limited amount of time.
      Also is very important to have sufficient time to analyze the data properly, is a complicated process that requires lots of study.
      There is nothing worse than having tons of data and no clue on what to do with them.
      However we all wish we could spend more time out on a boat than inside in our office.
