• Question: Why do you like cats so much to study them?

      Well I was always told when studying Zoology that it’s not the animal, it’s the question about them you should be interested in. That being said, I find cats quite fascinating as they are so integrated in our lives yet much about them is understudied. Also, my area of focus (electronic containment fences) is a highly controversial area with a lot of ongoing debate with zero science backing up either side. Truthfully, that is the real appeal of my study! (PS Cats are also just plain awesome)

      I don’t study cats but I really think they are lovely animals and I love that they have a choice regarding whether they live with you or find another home!
