• Question: why do whale have a hole to squirt water out the top of them and is there any purpose for it

      That is a blow hole and it has the same function of your nostrils. Whales exhale and inhale through that hole, you see water but it is just the water outside the blowhole that with the hot air coming out of the whales’ lungs, evaporates.
