Several reasons! Obviuoisly alergic reactions, things like insects, poison ivy, sunburn, stress etc etc

The common, every day itch we all get is nerves in your skin reacting to some change in the environment – like rubbing against something or a hair going out of place or even just something psychological. Importantly, there is no one cause of itching, it’s got a whole bunch of reasons, we end up scratching as its a human reflex!
