• Question: why do some animals not like anyone other than their keepers

      this is a very good question. In my experience this depends on how the animal have been raised. If your pet is not used to see and interact with anybody else than you, they can be scared by foreign persons that they don’t know.
      For instance many pets that never saw a little kid are afraid and may react by being aggressive or very shy.

      It is so important to socialise animals as this will help them like more people but there are certain species that only a trained and expert keeper can go near but the more people the animal meets the better it is as it is less anxious about meeting strangers.
