It is difficult to say as conservationists work hard to prevent the animals becoming extinct.

According to the World Wildlife Federation (WWF) the top 10 most endangered species are:

      1. Black Rhino
      2. Giant Panda
      3. Tiger
      4. Beluga Sturgeon
      5. Goldenseal
      6. Alligator Snapping Turtle
      7. Hawksbill Turtle
      8. Big Leaf Mahogany
      9. Green-Cheeked Parrot
      10. Mako Shark

It’s a stretch to say with any definity what it will be – these things are unpredictable – In my opinion the next animal likely to go extinct is ivory-billed woodpecker – it was thought to be extinct as of 2004 but small sightings since have suggested there is a tiny residual population that is certain to go extinct in the wild immediately!

Its extinction is due mostyl in part to overlogging and habitat loss, as the animal was incorrectly thought to be already gone 8 years ago, there have been no attempts to keep it from going extinct for real!
