      Having an eye for details and be open minded. Sometimes we let our own belief take over while we should comments on what we see and be guided by the data instead of interpreting what we think is true.

      I think the ability to convey my work to the average cat owner. Science about companion animal welfare and behaviour is only ever going to be of use if it can be clearly demonstrated and explained to the pet owning public.

      I think the most important aspect is that I have contributed to making a positive difference to the lives of laboratory animals, and lives of human patients who rely on medical advances. I have also learnt a great deal about animals and their behaviour
