• Question: is a rats heart bigger than a humans compared to the rats body size?

      Surprisingly they are about the same!. A human heart is about 300g in males and 200g in females. Taking an adult male weighing 65kg the heart is 0.46% of the body weight. A rat heart is about 2g and for a 400g rat that is 0.5% of body weight!
