• Question: in the near future, do you think pandas will become extinct?

      No – From my first hand experience in China I don’t think that will ever happen. Pandas are fortunate enough to have the vested interests of one of the worlds super-powers highly committed to its survival. Now whether or not the Chinese governments efforts result in Pandas living in large numbers in the wild or not I can not say (although I suspect it may not) I can say with some certainty that there will be pandas in captivity or otherwise around in the near future.
