• Question: if you put an animal in a black box for all of its life, but it didnt die, and suddenly let it out would it know how to live and what to eat and how to talk in its language?? MEOW

      Well if it had been in a black box all it’s life and had never eaten before I’d imagine it would have died?

      This is quite a hypothetical question and would be a very mean thing to do…
      Assuming it was a bit of a magic animal and did not die or you were feeding and watering it through a hole, you would have to let it out of the box into the light slowly as the sudden brightness may kill it, also it may be too scared to leave the box as it will fear the unknown, animals don’t have a particular language like we do, if you shut a human in a box from birth (we are talking hypothetical) then it would not be able to speak as it had never heard speech to learn, there has been a case where a boy was locked up with dogs and would bark rather than speak, you may want to Google that one.

      I think with some animals then once they were released a natural instinct would take over. We all have an instinct to survive and eat and drink and when it came out it would be frightened but given time and care it may adapt but most likely it would not be able to socialise as it would have mental scares.

      My recommendation would be not to try this at all even in imagination!
