• Question: If someone finds dinosaur DNA would we be able to clone them as their isn't any animals like that to inmplant the DNA in to for it to give birth.

      That’s true, it would be very difficult to pull off for those reasons! Birds actually would be the closest living descendants of dinosaurs, and they have diverged significantly away from their ancestors! (Fun fact, the T-Rex’s closest living descendant is the chicken!).

      There are however, ongoing attempts to clone the Wooly Mammoth with Elephants as the animals being implanted but finding high enough quality DNA samples make the process extremely difficult. That being said, researchers in Japan reckon they will have one cloned in 5 years!
