  The only primates native to Great Britain are humans! – who coincidentally arrived here in the 8th millenium BC.
  
  There are however many, many species of monkey currently in captivity in various zoos, sanctuaries and laboratories. Importantly, these are not considered part of our wildlife as they are not living in the wild!
