• Question: How would you approach an elephant?

      I would say for a wild elephant t don’t approach it at all, bull elephants have been known to chase and kill people if they perceive them as a threat. They can easily trample us so if you go to see wild elephants always go with a qualified and trained guide and keep your distance. I have found a few tips on the net for tame elephants, If it is a tame elephant make sure it can see you and keep the side of your body towards it, the important thing is not to let it feel threatened. Notice its behaviour and and If it puts is ears close to its head and seems to be staring at you then don’t approach it. Don’t approach them from the front
