  That all depends and varies greatly on the temperment of the dog – some breeds seem to be quikcer but it all seems to be down to the trainers persistance and patience!

  It can also depend on when you start calling it by its name and if you try to change the name of the dog when it is older. Plus some dogs ar deaf 😉
