The average age of a pet cat is 12-14 years old. They can obviously live quite a bit longer, my cat Tigger is nearly 20 now! I also think she’s going senile…! Stray/feral cats life expectancy is obviously a lot shorter (3/4 years) as they are exposed to a lot more risks (starvation, cold, disease) than a pet cat would be.

The oldest cat on record was 36 years old!
