• Question: How do cats know their name because when i call my cat she always come straight away

      That depends greatly on the cats temperment, who is caling the name and how used they are to hearing it. If you’ve had your cat from a young age and have constantly called its name when feeding it, petting it, playing with it etc, it will associate the sound of its name with getting to interact with you or be fed etc.

      Some cats may understand you’re calling them and just ignore you, happens to me all the time!
