They bond with their owners, most of the animals that remember their owners are pack animals so they remember their owners as being part of the pack by their odour or how they look or sound, it is less likely the non-pack pet (like a lizard) would remember its owner but that is not to say it doesn’t happen

ok that a bit creepy… but cute as well! what if lizards wash and change their smell? then the rest of the pack wont recognise them… 🙁

lucy, that could be said for mammals and lizards, because smell is very important to some species
