• Question: How come penguins don't freeze?

      They can and do! Have you seen March of the Penguins? Penguins keep warm through blizzards and cold snaps by aggregating (huddling together) and turning around in sequence so everyone gets to stay warm. However, older penguins or sick/less fit individuals still can die of cold and penguins that find themselves on their own during a cold period are unlikely to survive.
