  Preference is not something limited to humans, animals have all sorts of preferences be it food they prefer over others and I’m sure you’ll agree cats have favourite spots/toys and people!

  I don’t think there is a definitive answer to this question, but imagine how boring this world would be if we did not have favourite things. Different species have different biological needs and all animals and people are individual
