I never asked them. I think animals have very acute senses that humans underestimates. Thus a cat react to sounds or odors that we might not hear or smell but they are real. For example pets are the firsts to escape from a house if they sense an earthquake but this happens because they feel the vibrations before we do. However because we are not as aware of our surroundings as they are, for many centuries people thought that animals could see ghosts or have some supernatural powers.

Hmm I think I’d need some evidence first before I could say anything about that!

Although Bees can see ultraviolet light and some snakes have see infrared, which is quite unusual.

I have heard that Unicorns have bluetooth but this is, as of lunchtime, unconfirmed.

I think animals may see lots of things that seem weird to them, my dog certainly things getting into a car is far too weird to want to do so voluntarily!

There have been studies which demonstrate dogs know when their owner is coming home and have a sense that their owner is in danger. As for ghosts and things that go bump in the night…. not sure there is any scientific evidence that they exist but if they do I am pretty sure an animal would be the first to sense its presence!
