• Question: do you learn new things a lot that you didn't already know through your work?

      Most definately. As PhD’s are mostly self directed study, I am constantly learning new things, mostly out of necessity! I’m learning lots from doing this also! And more importantly, I’m remembering things I thought I’d forgotten!

      Yes I am always learning new things, and taking part in this has helped me learn new things too. It is very important to always find out and learn new things, it keeps your mind active and gives you plenty of useful conversational starters 🙂 every tomorrow is a day to learn something new even if it is just what you have done tomorrow 😉
