Yes – I travel quite a bit to meet cat owners, representatives of companies, charities etc. I also have to go to a lot of conferences too!

      Yes, sometimes even too much.
Traveling is amazing, you get to know different people and cultures but sometimes I wish I could be home more to be with my friends and family.
However I saw dolphins and whales in Canada, Spain, Scotland, Iceland and the Philippines and I loved it every single time!

I don’t do a great deal of travelling although I do go to a few conferences a year and I also go to schools across the country giving school presentations on my work and some external meetings but nowhere too exotic, 🙂

I used to travel a lot more than I do now unfortunately! Botswana, Australia, South-Africa .. all places I worked during my degree or afterwards. Then there are conferences to go to, where you talk to people about your research and get to know what other people are working on. Working at Aberdeen University now, there are some field trips where I take students to the nicest places of Scotland! Because our own, not so exotic country, is pretty cool too!
