• Question: Do you agree with cloning?

      Cloning without purpose seems to rub people the wrong way – but something important to remember is that cloning Dolly the Sheep for example, wasn’t done out of morbid curiosity but to advance the field so that important work in medical research can be done.

      I agree with cloning personally as I am aware of the waiting lists people have to be put on for organ transplants and the shortage of donor organs and bodies not just for medical work but for universities with anatomy classes etc. Cloning as it stands is being researched for these purposes and I think it is a noble endevour!

      I don’t agree with cloning, the reason I disagree is because I don’t think it is right to have a clone of something. It just seems wrong to me, that may seem like a woolly answer but it is the best I can give, it may lead to humans being cloned just to harvest for un-cloned humans are unwell. I do think we should all carry donor cards though so that health organs are not wasted when we die
