Worms have 5 hearts!
Flies don’t have blood, they have a blood like substance called ‘haemolymph’ that is found in most invertebrates. It’s thicker than blood and not red – it’s colour can vary however and functions similarly to blood!

I know, the first time I found out about their 5 hearts was when I dissected one at University! I was shocked! And yes, I am really Irish!
