• Question: Do think that animal DNA can be mixed and then developed to create a new species?

      I don’t think so but it would not surprise me to learn someone is working on it! I guess Genetically Modified animals are the closet to this question but you only make the same species which is genetically different from others of its kind, for example you can insert a human gene into a mouse but it does not make the mouse more human…

      I think we can produce a new animal but whether this one will be able to reproduce hence creating a new species I don’t know. It sound difficult to me and it creeps me out a bit. However I’d love an hybrid between a zebra and a dolphin..it would be a very fashionable animal!
