      By using their gills – gills are spectacular organs that allow fish to extract oxygen from the water!

      Some fish also breath air, especially in oxygen depleted habitat

      That is why it is important to keep your fish tanks water fresh and have air pumps for the fish. If they go to the top of the tank to gulp some air it is a sign of poor water quality.
