• Question: Do cats sence traffic or do they just guess when nothings coming?

      That’s a great question and one we don’t really know and also one we hope to investigate in the coming years!

      We’re not sure if cats are more at risk from busy roads or quiet ones – do they stay away from busy roads because they know it is dangerous as there is constant warning or do quiet roads where one car can come down very suddenly without warning pose more of a risk!

      I think it may be a bit of both, I reckon cats have some system of weighing up the risks, but as 300,000 cats die on the road in the UK every year, they sometimes can’t tell!

      Hopefully we’ll find this out!
