• Question: do animals cope better whn they're closer to or further away from sea level?

      That depends on the animal – obviouslt animals like cats and bears won’t be better or worse of depending on how close they are to the sea but for some animals, like the coastal ceniptede for example – this proximity is crucial. If they are too close to the sea, they risk being drowned, if they are too far away they will dry out, so it;s a constant balancing act.

      Most species of fish don’t function well when they get very close to the surface of the sea, mainly as its so dangerous and will obviosuly cope better in the sea itself!
