Question: Could there ever be a man-made mass extinction of a species?

Yup, we’re on the verge of experiencing it according to prominent theoretical ecologists. It will be the 6th mass wave of extinction in the history of the planet, mind boggling to think we have caused such an impact!

Yes, and we have already achieved it with the DoDo, who were a friendly bird that we hunted and ate until they became extent.
It is why it is important we don’t allow overfishing in the seas to continue or we may lose many marine species

We have not already achieved a man made mass extinction of species – this is forthcoming. The Dodo, while made extinct due to human intervention was not a part of a wave of extinction, it was a more isolated event.
