  No, because animals react to how you treat them, I have never been bitten by an animal when I handled it (now I have said that I hope I am not tempting fate!) I would imagine a large wild grumpy animal may be pretty scary to have to handle if you have never tried before, but luckily for me the animals I work with are not wild.
