• Question: are 'triops' really dinosaurs? i thought they were all extinct?

      No they are tiny crustaceans – dinosaurs were reptiles! But triops are considered to be ‘living fossils’ as they can be traced back 300 million years ago – so although they were around during the time of the dinosaurs, they aren’t themselves dinosaurs!
