Yes, there are two species in particular that live in rivers, the bull shark and the 5 species of ‘river shark’ (called Glyphis) which are very rare.
The river sharks are very secretive and not much is known about them, but Bull Sharks are common enough and can be found in America!

Yes, they’re also found in India where they are called Ganges Sharks!
