Question: Are cats taste buds the same as humans? does our food taste the same to them?

The cats tastes buds are certainly structurally very similar to ours, but as to saying how something tastes to them – we cannot say. How something tastes is quite subjective – we can makes reasonable assumptions by saying a cat likes/dislikes something but we would be able to tell if a cat found its food hadn’t enough garlic!
