• Question: Are animals still tested on even if the product is an animal medicine?

      Yes they are – animals are tested on worldwide for everything from medicine (including animal) to cosmetics.

      Animals are only ever used for testing products if there is no alternative and scientists can demonstrate they have investigated all other possibilities for both human or animal medicines.
      Cosmetic testing is banned in the UK but it is not a world wide ban
