• Question: Are animals ever greedy?

      Animals are not usually greedy, some instinctively eat a lot because they don’t know when they are going to be fed again, so lions will gorge then sleep but may have to go several days or longer before their next meal. Animals that hibernate will eat a lot because they have to hibernate for a few months.

      Our pet animals sometimes overeat because we offer them tasty treats and they may then eat even when they are not hungry, or they still have the instinct to eat as much as they can just in case they don’t get fed again for a few days, but generally they will only eat what they need to
