• Question: Why do sheep only have two teats when they can have more than two lambs at a time, do you think it is possible in the future that sheep will evolve to have more teats so they can feed more children?

I think it is just down to the fertilized eggs splitting, other animals, like humans, also have triplets. If it were left to nature only the strongest will survive and the weaker of the 3 would die

If by some chance sheep born with more than two teat were born (through a random mutation) and they had increased survival of young or some other genuine distinct evolutionary advantage as a result – then under natural selection, this would become widespead. But that’s hypothetical and it’s difficult to speculate if this would ever happen!
