It’s odd – milk isn’t something that cats necessarily need or like, but poeple do it! What cats need more importantly is water! So if your cat doens’t like milk don’t worry! As long as they drink water they’ll be fine – they get most of the nutrients they need in their food anyway!

If you are offering your cat cows milk it is being sensible as most cats are lactose intolerant (sugars found in milk), try it on cats milk and see if it likes that, although my cat won’t drink cat milk so it may just not like it, even though shops try to sell treats often the animal is not too fussed about them!

If your cat is being fed a wet cat food it may not drink as much as a cat on dried diet, as long as there is always water available the cat will be fine, some of them prefer drinking from puddles though!
