• Question: Like humans, do animals that live in packs have laws and rules that they have to follow?

      Yes – some have went as far as to suggest that they have morals!

      Animals in large groups, be they ants or lions all generally delegate work and have an order of some sort, be it a dominance hierarchy where fighitng determines who’s at the top or a despot society where one animal is in control and the rest are subordinate.

      Regardless of the society structure, those animals that don’t do their part or steal resources or mates will generally not be tolerated! Old elephants for example, that start to cause fuss are generally kicked out of the group!

      They have rules and laws and if they don’t go along with the rules they can be punished by the dominant animal. They don’t have the definitive range of rules and laws we have though!
