• Question: if you were stung by a box jelly fish in the sea, how would you be treated in time, as apparently you die in like under a minute?

      It depends on how deep the stinger punctures you as well as other factors like your current health and especially your size – a 70kg person for example can last 3 minutes.

      Most full on stings from box jellies result in death as a result, the venom only recently had an effective antidote developed. But importantly, not every sting is fatal as not every sting can penetrate deep enough – the mortality (death) rate of box jelly stings is around 25%
