Question: are hyenas, dingos and african wild dogs related at all? they seem to live in the same habitat and look the same. is it the same as wolves and dogs? and do any of them have similar genetics?

  They are all from the order Carnivora, but Hyenas are under the suborder feliform and are more related to cats than dogs. Dingos are a species of wild-dog and both them and other wild-dogs are under the suborder canoidea
